Every woman dreams of maintaining her youth and having flawless skin. The beauty industry is making millions selling products promising to reverse the signs of aging. The problem is that most of those products have an ingredient list a mile long full of chemicals I cannot pronounce. Considering your skin is your largest organ, why would you want to absorb all of those potentially harmful chemicals when you can get a better benefit directly from nature?
Here are the best essential oils for radiant, youthful skin:
Frankincense essential oil is known for enhancing the brightness of skin. Regular use of frankincense will liven up a dull complexion and re-energize your appearance. It is simple to use, just add a drop to your palm and massage into your skin daily to rejuvenate dull dry skin. Within a few days you will notice new touchable soft skin.
I love Melrose essential oil for the skin. Featuring a combination of Melaleuca alternifolia and quinquenervia (tea tree oil), rosemary, and clove, it has an earthy fragrance that complements the luxurious skin benefits it has to offer. It’s a versatile oil that can be used on all skin types and often preferred by those with sensitive skin (dilute with carrier oil for daily use) Outside of its anti-aging properties, Melrose essential oil calms irritated skin while reducing redness, provides deep moisturizing and prepares the skin for the effects of other products.
No list would be complete without Lavender essential oil. Lavender oil is truly the most versatile of all the oils and is most popular in households because it has so many uses. Lavender essential oil is one of my favorites for combining with other moisturizes and hair masks. It’s a great choice for making DIY skin treatments because of its lightweight and light scent. It can calm problematic skin, freshen a dull complexion and combat the stress that chemicals put on our skin. In just a few days, Lavender essential oil can give you a youthful radiant complexion and make you feel great about the skin you’re in.
While not an essential oil but a carrier oil, Jojoba oil is probably the most hydrating of all oils in the world. It acts as a natural skin conditioner and is completely absorbed into the skin. Jojoba oil is odorless and is often used as a carrier oil for other essential oils. This oil contains Vitamin E, Vitamin B Complex, chromium, copper and zinc that your skin will adore. The antioxidants in jojoba oil will combat fine lines and wrinkles while naturally slowing down the signs of aging.
Each of these essential oils is a great choice for adding to your skin care regimen, and even better when used in combination with each other. I like to mix up a roller ball with 20 drops each Frankincense, Lavender and Melrose oils, then top it off with Jojoba oil for dilution. This rollerball gets used daily on my family members during the cold winter months when our skin needs extra hydration and support.
If your need help with your dry skin, try this powerful combination! Within days you will start to notice a difference. Your skin will appear brighter, revived and have a glowing more youthful appearance.
Always test a small area first to see how your skin will react to any essential oil.
