Well, its hard to believe, but Fall is here already! I have some great news for people who fear the cold months and what they usually mean for health in homes, offices, schools, etc! You can support your immune system naturally without going into hiding or worrying about other peoples germs! Yes, its true! And, even better, you can do it without using nasty chemicals in or on your body! Wanna know how?? Keep reading!
I saw the picture above a few weeks ago and realized it’s so true!!! I decided to come up with a list of 10 things you can do to naturally boost your immunity and stay healthy!
#1. Get enough rest! Taking a bath with Epsom salts and essential oils helps wind you down for sleep. I like to use Cedarwood Essential Oil. I also put some in a roller bottle and roll it on the back of my neck right before bed.
#2. Get outside! Fresh air does wonders as does the added Vitamin D you can absorb from the suns rays. 10 minutes should be enough for most people.
#3. Take a quality probiotic! – Life 5 is a wonderful probiotic made by Young Living. You can read more about it HERE.
#4. Take vitamin D3 – This helps your immune cells make antibodies to fight off any yucky stuff you may come in contact with. Omegagize is a great one!
#5. Take Elderberry syrup daily as a preventative. You can buy it at heathfood stores, or make your own. Wellnessmama.com and ZealandGrace.com have great recipes! Another preventative that I swear by is Thieves Essential Oil! Diffuse it to purify the air and use a roller bottle filled with a few drops of Thieves and a carrier oil and apply to the bottoms of your feet every night before bed. Bonus: It smells amazing too! 🙂
#6. Take a quality multivitamin! Master Formula is a great one!
#7. Minimize stress! Do yoga, meditate, exercise, get a massage, take a bath, or even listen to your favorite music after a long, hard day.
#8. Eat fruits and vegetables, and drink Ningxia Red! Ningxia Red is a delicious antioxidant drink that supports whole body wellness. It energizes, fortifies, and revitalizes the body! Read more about it HERE
#9. Wash your hands often, and use a nontoxic, quality hand sanitizer like Thieves hand purifier between washings.
#10. Exercise! Just 30 minutes a day can help to energize you and reduce your stress levels!
That’s it! If there are other things you do to create wellness, I would love to hear about them in the comments!
