I was introduced to Young Living back in 2013. Since that time, I have been using essential oils myself, with my family and introducing them to friends. I use the oils for health & wellness, as well as in culinary settings.
Healthy cooking begins with the right tools in your kitchen and that means having the right essential oils on hand, don’t run out to the nearest grocery store and grab a bottle of essential oil to add to your dish!
Why not! ? Because most essential oils that are inexpensive and readily found in supermarkets are not organic, or, if they are, they have fillers in them which is why they are at the price point that they are. Many are not steam distilled or expeller produced. Most oils are expelled using hexane, a chemical which is toxic. After much research we fell in love with Young Living because its quality over quantity!
Ready to wake up your taste buds and give essential oils a try?
Here are a couple things to keep in mind;
-One or two drops are all you need.
-Due to their chemical compounds, it is best to wait until the end of the process before adding the essential oil. These are called “volatile oils” for a reason – they are relatively fragile and will dissipate quickly in high heat!
-Each drop is filled with bright, vibrant taste so less is more.
