R.C. Respiratory Care

BLEND: Eucalyptus (E. globulus), Eucalyptus Radiata, Eucalyptus citriodora, Lavender, Cypress, Marjoram, Pine, Myrtle, Tsuga, Peppermint

R.C. stands for Respiratory Care. That makes it easy to remember why we use it! This beautiful blend of oils will surely take you back to feeling like you’re in a steam room at a SPA with all those Eucalyptus oils in it. Great pre and post workout, during colder seasons or spring time and at bedtime in the diffuser.

Eucalyptus (E. globulus) – great for the respiratory system
Eucalyptus Radiata – helps soothe the respiratory system
Eucalyptus citriodora – great for Respiratory system
Lavender – calming
Cypress – refreshing and relaxing, great for circulation to the lungs
Marjoram – relaxing, calming, and pleasing to the muscles.
Pine – may open the airway, great for lung circulation
Myrtle – may help with oxygenation to the lungs
Tsuga – grounding and uplifting, may open the airway
Peppermint – soothing and cooling

EASY EVERYDAY USES:

– Dilute and rub over chest before and after a workout.
– Diffuse at night before bed.
– Apply to bottoms of feet in the afternoon for lungs.

DIFFUSER:
Think sinuses when diffusing this oil. Inhaling this oil from the diffuser or diffuser jewelry will help the oils run right through your nasal cavity and straight into the lungs providing lots of benefits.

TOPICAL:
Dilute 50:50 with V6 or carrier of choice and massage into chest, back, and feet and Vita Flex Points. Put on a q-tip and rub on inside nasal passages. Rub around ears, neck and throat before bed for a quiet night sleep.

Dilute 1 drop in 1 tsp with children.

TIP: Rub on your sleep buddies neck/throat and put in the diffuser before bed if they are a loud sleeper and you need a quiet night. =)

RECIPES

Breathe Easy Chest Rub:

Ingredients
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup shea butter
2 Tbs. beeswax (grated/pellets)
Add these essential oil blends…

Essential Oil Blend for Children 3- 6 Years:

10 Drops of RC
2 Drops of Thieves
2 Drops of Lemon
2 Drops of Peace & Calming

Essential Oil Blend for Children Over 6 Years:

5 Drops of RC
5 Drops of Peppermint
5 Drops of Eucalyptus Radiata
4 Drops of Thieves
3 Drops of Lemon
3 Drops of Tea Tree
*Note: The older blend works well for adults, too. You can also double the number of oils for a stronger “adult version” of the blend.

Directions:

In a double boiler, combine all ingredients except essential oils. Heat on LOW and stir continuously until fully melted. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 – 10 minutes. Stir in the essential oil blends until well combined. Pour mixture in glass or metal container (do not use plastic). Let sit for 30 – 60 minutes until mixture stiffens.

*Note: For babies under 2 months, rub on spine and feet (cover feet with socks afterward). For those older than 2 months, you may rub on the chest.

Pre/Post Workout or Chest Roller:

5 drops RC
2 drops Copaiba
2 drops Frankincense
Fill with V6 or carrier oil. Apply to chest and throat pre and post workout or throughout as needed. Use more R.C. if you want it stronger.

Quiet Night Protocol:

4-8 drops R.C. in the diffuser (8 drops in the Rainstone).
Chest roller (recipe above) over throat and chest.
1 drop Valor on your right big toe.
Apply and begin to diffuse 15 minutes before bedtime.
Dilute accordingly when used with Children.
