Cleansing With the Seasons

Because we live in a toxic society, our bodies are exposed to substances they were never created for.  This toxic overload is the root of much sickness and disease today. Even though your body knows what to do, you much help it, by avoiding toxic substances like junk food and environmental toxins in the first place and by gently detoxifying throughout the year.

Human beings are not machines.  And we are not completely disconnected from the rest of God’s creation.  Our bodies are tuned to the rhythm of day and night, the moon cycle and the four seasons. Because of this, each organ has a specific time and season when it receives the most energy from the body. You can cleanse at any time, especially if you have never done it before, or if you are seriously ill. But, as a part of an ongoing detoxification and wellness program, cleansing with the seasons utilizes and capitalizes upon the natural cycles of our bodies and organs.

Biologically, the new year begins in the spring.  To get ready for “spring cleaning” in the body, we must start in the fall by cleaning out the colon so that it can expel the toxins.  Even if you want to begin a cleanse immediately and end up doing it out of season, always start with the colon.

Here are some suggestions, using primarily Young Living products:

FALL:  Colon cleanse(large intestine),skin, lungs

  • Comfortone (strengthens digestion, as well as liver and gallbladder)
  • ICP (toxin absorbing fiber and essential oils)
  • Essentialzyme  (promotes complete digestion and assimilation of nutrients)
  • Detoxzyme (an enzyme created specifically for detoxification).  Do this for several weeks. You should be having 1-3 bowel movements daily.
  • Then you can do a Parasite cleanse with Parafree.
  • Be sure to drink lots of water!

WINTER:  Kidney, bones

  • Stay on comfortone
  •  K&B tincture
  • Valor
  • Juniper
  • Sage
  • Rosemary
  • After 2 weeks on these, start the Master Cleanse juice fast (for at least 10 days).
    • The Master Cleanse, by Stanley Burroughs:
      • Per glass:
        • 2 Tbs. fresh-squeezed organic lemon juice (1/2/ lemon)
        • 2 Tbs. Grade B maple syrup (Grade B contains vital minerals)
        • 1/10 Tbs. cayenne pepper
        • 10-14 oz. distilled water
        • Drink 8-12 glasses daily
      • Per gallon:
        • 5-7 cups of fresh lemon juice
        • 1 ¼ cups of Grade B Maple syrup
        •  1 ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
        • 1 gallon distilled water

Just drink this alkalizing and nourishing drink anytime you are hungry.  You can then continue drinking it as healthy lemonade, even when not fasting. Fasting gives your body and digestive system a chance to rest and focus its energy on detoxification and healing rather than digesting food.

SPRING:  Liver, gallbladder

  • Continue Comfortone and ICP
  • Juice fast to rest the liver (carrot and beet juice, especially), or at least eat foods that are easy to digest and nourishing to the liver (cooked vegetables, nourishing soups and dark leafy greens).
  • Juva cleanse
  • Juva tone

SUMMER:  Stomach & small intestine

  • Enzymes
  •  Probiotics

                     Pancreas & spleen

  • Thieves
  • Sulfurzyme
  • Ningxia Red

                     Lymph

  • Lymphatic brushing
  • 1 drop of Grapefruit, cypress and orange in water 3x daily

                     Heart & circulation

  • Continue with enzymes
  • Rehemogen (blood cleanser)
  • There are also many natural blood thinners that are delicious, as well as great for cardiovascular health.  Here are a few:

             There are, of course other body systems that may need attention (skin, muscles, bones, teeth, the brain, pituitary, thyroid, adrenal and endocrine), but, generally speaking, when the major organs are cleansed, the others begin to function well, too.
