Isn’t it soooo fun to be able to help others? I guess that helping others might be considered my one “talent” or gift from God. I remember as a youngster I’d go to work with my dad who was a carpenter at the time and I always knew exactly the tool he would need next and I’d have it handy to give to him. I totally enjoy doing things for others and get all excited when someone gets a new house or can do a remodel project to update their home . I’m not the jealous type, I love to see others get nice things.
I guess that is why when I discovered Young Living I was all in. This was another way of helping others improve their lives. When it comes to remodeling and updating I’m not real anxious to do something in my own home because I hate the mess while it’s happening. It’s hard to take the bad to get the good but with Young Living there is only good. Sure there are things we need to take out of our lives so replacements have to be found. For one, we dug out the old cast iron skillets to warm things in, rather than use the microwave. We take the extra 2 minutes it takes to make oatmeal on the stove rather that nuke it. We take the time to make a fresh salad with organic vegetables nearly every day instead of opening a box of macaroni and cheese.
But the best part is seeing how others are changing their habits for healthier choices. I get so excited when I see my team ordering on essential rewards because that makes me think they are really taking this “making better choices” seriously and that they too will have a better life because of those choices.
Isn’t it exciting to know that we are having a profound effect on the way manufacturers are processing foods, how restaurants are preparing food, and how the farmers are growing our foods these days. We can make a difference and we are. There are so many more choices today than there were even 4 years ago when I first began my journey with Young Living essential oils. I must say that I feel better, have more energy and enjoy life so much better now since I’ve begun learning what to and what not to put in and on my body. Let’s keep it up. Let’s learn all we can and let’s continue to help one another live up to our potential.
