Which Eucalyptus oil should I use?

There are more than 700 species of eucalyptus. Who knew? Before I started using essential oils I always thought “eucalyptus” was just one plant and it would have just one benefit, to support a healthy respiratory system and  healthy sinuses. Since I’ve been studying essential oils in the last several years I’ve learned how important it is to know which plant the oil comes from because they don’t all offer the same health benefits.

In the SHOWER: I like to wipe a few drops of RC or Eucalyptus globulus on the shower wall away from the spray and enjoy the aromatherapy steam. Peppermint is another favorite to use this way.

Diffuser necklace: you can find them all over the internet. Add 3-5 drops of Raven or RC to provide yourself with day-long aromatherapy to support healthy respiratory system  and sinuses. You’ll enjoy the invigorating aroma and feel clear of mind as well.

Post workout: There’s Eucalyptus globulus in Ortho Sport. Ortho Sport can be combined with Deep Relief or PanAway after a really tough workout when your muscles are screaming and you are remembering you’re not 21 any more because that workout just kicked your booty. You could create your own post workout rub with about 1-3 tsp V-6 (or coconut oil if you don’t mind the coconut aroma), 2 drops RC, 1 drop Peppermint, 2 drops PanAway, 1 drop Copaiba. *V-6 is a nut based vegetable oil mix, absorbs nicely into the skin. 

BATH TIP: A friend of mine swears by a few squirts of Ortho Sport or Ortho Ease in a handful of epsom salts thrown into a bath. She says it’s the most invigorating & regenerating bath you can take after a tough tennis match.

Quick Vapor Rub:

1/4 cup  coconut oil

5 drops RC (or Euc. Blue or Euc. globulus or Euc. radiata or Myrtle or Raven blend)

3 drops Thieves

3 Lavender

1 drop Peppermint

QUICK Vapor/Workout Roll-On

15 ml Ortho Sport massage oil

one of your empty 15 ml YL bottles (or 5ml will work too)

Aromaglide roller fitment (one came with your Starter Kit)

Fill your empty YL bottle with Ortho Sport, put roller fitment on it. You now have a dual purpose roll-on! You can beef it up for sports with 3 drops Lemongrass and 5 drops Copaiba.
