So you bought your oil kit (hopefully only Young Living oils) and you are ready to rock and roll but have no idea where to start. My first suggestion would be to get ready to have some fun! There are so many things you can do but you will need a few supplies. None of them of are crazy expensive but they are very necessary.
My first suggestion would be to get yourself some glass rollerballs. Those are the exact roller balls I use to make my blends. Whether you are using your pocket desk reference or your desk reference app, this will be something you need. (By the way, one of the perks of becoming a part of my team is I will give you a reference guide as a thank you!) My next suggestion would be to get some glass jars. There will be a time that a rollerball will not do. What if you decide to try your hand at lotion or a massage oil. These are the jars I use.
The carrier oil you decide to use is completely up to you. My only suggestion would be to make sure it is organic. You are hopefully using therapeutic grade oils so don’t I use coconut oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and olive oil depending on what the project is. An oil dropper is the easiet thing to use so you can count the drops you need. This is the dropper I use.
And last but not least, you need labels. I cannot tell you how many times I have made up a batch of something and didn’t label it thinking I’d remember what it is. Trust me, you won’t! Label everything!
So that’s everything ladies! I’m so excited for you that you have started this journey. These oils have truly been the best investment I’ve ever made in my family’s health. I have saved so much money because my preventative measures have paid off. You are beginning an amazing journey.
