Ok, I have a LOT of favorite oils. So today I am just going to focus on some oils that I love for winter wellness that I would say probably aren’t as well known/popular. I always make sure that I have extras of these oils by stocking up toward the end of summer.
Tsuga essential oil has a fresh, clean scent and is distilled from the twigs of conifer trees. I mix it with some V-6 and rub it on the chest and back. My girls fondly refer to this method of application as an oil sandwich 🙂
2. Exodus II
Exodus II™ is a timeless blend of essential oils from the same type of plants that Moses used for temple incense. A base of olive oil, cassia, myrrh, cinnamon, calamus, hyssop, galbanum, frankincense, and spikenard. This oil smells amazing! I apply it to the spine with a bit of V-6.
Myrtle, with a fresh eucalyptus-like scent, supports the respiratory system. With a soothing effect when inhaled, Myrtle is helpful for meditation and promotes overall well-being. This is one that I like to diffuse. I usually mix it with something like Thieves or Frankincense.
4. Palo Santo
I know that some people rave about Durado Azul however I have found that for respiratory support Palo Santo does the same thing for me and I much prefer the scent. I also apply this oil topically with a bit of V-6 on the chest and back with the oil sandwich method.
This one is stinky people so I only pull it out when the big guns are needed! I apply to the bottom of the feet so it is furthest from my nose 😉 ImmuPower is a blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils: Hyssop, Mountain savory, Cistus, Camphor, Frankincense, Oregano, Clove, Cumin, and Dorado azul.
I encourage you to branch out and try some different oils than your normal go to ones. You never know, you may find a new favorite!!
Be brave, try something new!!
